Add a YouTube video to your web page
The simplist way to add a video to your web page is to upload the video to
YouTube. Then while on the YouTube website, create a custom player, then select
the video you want to play inside of the player. Then click the button to
"Generate Code". Copy that code snippet then open your web page and paste the
code inside the HTML area of your web page. Below is an example of the end
results. (If you do not see the video below then your firewall may be
blocking it. Some employers turn off access to YouTube.)
Go to your YouTube account and click "Custom Video Players", then "Create Custom
Player". Select a color and format for your player, and then choose what is
going to play in it—you can choose a playlist, your own uploaded content, or
your favorites—and then click the "Generate Code" button. Copy and paste the
code into your blog entry or web page.
